闫玉龙、苏维埃波普以及一位意外的特殊嘉宾出演……同时播映利雅·赛勒的三部默片（《行走》，荷兰恩斯赫德，2010年/5分5秒；《秒》，荷兰恩斯赫德，2010年/5分4秒；《奔跑》，荷兰恩斯赫德，2010年/3分51秒）
旁边儿是北京一个独立的艺术/音乐/影片制作和发行的平台。我们目前在北京组织跨学科的文化活动，制作原创录音与视频录像，在国际上发行中国艺术家、音乐家和电影制片人的作品。

闫玉龙是一位来自北京的多种乐器演奏者，最近的项目包括“吹万”(douban.com/artist/chuiwan)和Sister riented(douban.com/artist/s.o.12)。他的电子中提琴独奏由密集的而丰富优美的和声组成，其间分散着偶然的琶音和更多无调性的爆发音，流露出他对菲利浦·格拉斯和斯蒂夫·莱赫的钦慕。

苏维埃波普是由李维思和李青组成的实验合成音乐二人组。李维思和李青曾任噪音摇滚乐队“晕车的车”原鼓手和低音乐器演奏者，但随时间推移，他们的音乐兴趣转向了越发小众的声音领域。苏维埃波普的音乐将克鲁斯特迷幻电子脉冲与银苹果曲折的幻觉极简主义相结合，创作出他们称之为“振荡量声音歌曲研究”微妙而有质感的音景。
李青和李维思同时也是玫瑰楼的组成成员，玫瑰楼是北京模拟音乐厂牌。

Pangbianr teams up with Caochangdi PhotoSpring to present live performances of stark Modernist compositions from a bygone era of analog music paired with nostalgic Super 8mm films of the Impossible Project’s Polaroid production facilities.
Featuring music by Yan Yulong, Soviet Pop, and Fat City alongside three silent films by Lia Sáile (WALKING, Enschede, NL, 2010 / 05’05”, SECONDS, Enschede, NL, 2010 / 05’04”, RUNNING, Enschede, NL, 2010 / 03’51”)
Pangbianr is an independent art/music/film production and distribution platform based in Beijing, China. We organize interdisciplinary cultural events in Beijing, produce original recordings and videos, and distribute work by Chinese artists, musicians and filmmakers internationally.
Yan Yulong is a Beijing-based multi-instrumentalist whose current projects include Chuiwan (douban.com/artist/chuiwan) and Sister Oriented (douban.com/artist/s.o.12). His solo electric viola work consists of dense, richly melodic harmonies layered under sporadic arpeggios and more atonal bursts that betray his appreciation for Philip Glass and Steve Reich.
Soviet Pop is an experimental synth duo composed of Li Weisi and Li Qing. Qing and Weisi were the original drummer and bassist of noise-rock band Carsick Cars, but over time their musical interests have drifted to increasingly esoteric sonic territories. Soviet Pop's music couples the hypnotic electronic pulse of Kluster with the meandering psychedelic minimalism of Silver Apples to create a subtle, textured soundscape they call "osc sound song research." Li Qing and Li Weisi are also founding members of Rose Mansion, an analog music label based in Beijing.
Lia Sáile’s an emerging artist, filmmaker and analog instant photography enthusiast based in Austria and Germany.
